Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spread the bacon on the sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until desired crispness. Drain on a plate lined with paper towels and let cool.
Toast your sliced bread and set aside to cool slightly.
Halve your avocado and remove the seed. Use a spoon to remove the avocado from the skin. Place ½ an avocado on a piece of toast. Use the back of a fork to mash the avocado directly on the toast.
Drizzle with lemon juice, then add sliced tomatoes in a layer on top of the avocado. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.
Place tomato slices on top of avocado. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and shredded fresh basil.
